INDIAN GOVERNMENT COVID-19 LOCKDOWN A FAILURE OR A SUCCES?

The lockdown in India was imposed from 24th March 2020 and there were only 519 confirmed cases across India. BUT now there are 26.5 lakhs confirmed cases in India. Now people are questioning and debating that LOCKDOWN IN INDIA was of no use and was totally a failure.

DO YOU ALSO THINK THAT LOCKDOWN IN INDIA WAS A FAILURE? YES/NO, let's checkout in my today's blog that lockdown in India was a failure or a success.

Coronavirus India Lockdown Global Health Emergency Covid-19 Pandemic Disease Outbreak

In my previous blog I informed  you all that in this blog I will be discussing various qustions reagarding lockdown in India. Now let's find out answers of all question below.

QUESTION 1

WAS LOCKDOWN IN INDIA A SUCCESS OR A FAILURE?

ANSWER-

From my point of view, Lockdown has failed at Economic front as our GDP rate is decreasing day by day and many people faced unemployement . But we were successfull in tackling COVID-19 increasing cases in India  till 26th March but the next day we say a increasing no  of cases due to Tablighi Jamaat. This was the main reason of because of which lost our control  on COVID-19.

QUESTION 2

IS MODI GOVERNMENT FAILED IN CONTROLLING  CORONAVIRUS OR NOT?

ANSWER-

No, I think Modi government has not been failed in controlling this pandemic Coronavirus . As, if there was no Lockdown imposed in India, then today,we would have been ranked ahead of AMERICA in more no of confirmed cases.

QUESTION 3

HAS INDIA BECAME SUCCESSFUL IN BATTLING COVID-19 DURING LOCKDOWN?

ANSWER-

Yes, to the some point India has became successful in battling Covid-19 during lockdown as most of the citizens either living in slums or big cities followed all the guidelines issued by Central Government.

QUESTION 4

WAS IT A RIGHT DECISION TO IMPOSE LOCKDOWN IN INDIA ?

ANSWER-

Yes, It was the right decision to impose lockdown as it was the only was of Battling this pandemic. And many of the countries had also defeated this pandemic by the only way of imposing LOCKDOWN.

QUESTION 5

WAS MODI GOVERNMENT READY FOR BATTLING COVID- 19?

ANSWER

NO, I think Modi Government was not ready for battling COVID-19 as the lockdown was imposed very late in India. The lockdown would have been imposed on the day when First Positive Covid case reported in India.

During this pandemic Kerela h s done the spectacular job as they started screening and restricing public gathering gatherings in the state since January. That's the reason why they were successful in battling Covid-19

 QUESTION 6

HAS THE OBJECTIVE BEEN ACHIEVED TO REDUCE COVID-19 CASE IN INDIA?

ANSWER

No, The objective to reduce COVID-19 positive cases was not achieved by central government. It would have been achieved if there were more no of regular covid testing done in India and most probably we would be sucessfull if there was no  Tablighi Jamaat Religious Gathering.

QUESTION 7

HAS MODI GOVERNMENT MADE ANY ARRANGEMENTS FOR IMPOSING LOCKDOWN IN INDIA?

ANSWER

NO, Modi government had not made any arrangements before imposing lockdown in India as the whole country was not ready to face lockdown. Many of the migrants have to walk back to their home as there were no trains and buses services. Many of them has lost their lives while walking on the roads. Government did not make any arrangements for migrants to walk back at home.

This government decision was taken hurriedly. They should have given people time for 4-5 days before imposing lock down.

MUMBAI/INDIA - MAY 11, 2020: Migrant workers walk on the highway on their journey back home during a nationwide lockdown to fight the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

QUESTION 8

WAS OUR MEDICAL TEAMS TAUGHT ABOUT ,HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS HARD         SITUATIONS?

ANSWER

NO, our Medical teams was not ready to face this Covid-19 situation. They were not trained to how to deal with this kind of situation.

There were less PPE kits available for them. There were less no of beds available in our Hospitals. There were also less no of N-95 masks available for them.

Social distancing, flatten the curve Coronavirus COVID-19 preventing a sharp peak of infections, medical workers work to flatten the curve to slow COVID-19 infection for enough health care capacity.

SO, FROM MY POINT OF VIEW LOCK DOWN WAS NEITHER A SUCCESS NOR A FAILURE.
